Good Food

Good food is really important to us at Milkbar. By 'good food' we mean wholesome, honest, good old-fashioned real food. Here are a few of the things we're doing to provide the best food we can for our lunchtime customers.

Local
We buy our produce locally when ever we can to support local farmers and to ensure your food hasn't travelled half way around the world to get to you. Tasmania has an amazing array of quality produce and food products available; we'd be crazy not to make use of it.

Fresh
We're all about our food being fresh. We'll be selling a range of salads, baguettes, focaccias, turkish rolls and other light meals made up fresh every morning, because we want you to have the best tasting lunch you can.

Free-range

We are trying to only use free-range meats when ever we can.

Organic

Our house teas, blended by Nine Owls Tea, are all organic.
